welcome

I've often thought of owning my own business. A little shop somewhere that I could call my own, although I'm not quite sure what I'd sell there. Probably just odds and ends that I frequently find myself buying from such little shops and that I adore so much that I can hardly persuade myself to use them. Whatever I'd sell, however, I'd want my shop to be charming and warm. A place where friends and family come to spend time together. A place where as soon as you left you're planning your next visit back.
Well, I don't have a business, but I have this blog. It's been "under construction" for quite some time and finally the time has come to cut the ribbon and open for business(at least part-time until I get a computer of my own and then... look out). I primarily decided to start this blog as a means of self discovery and who knows, maybe as you drop by every now and again you'll discover something about yourself too. Just as all good businesses, this blog appreciates your comments so feel free to drop a line before you leave. This blog will most likely not always be charming and warm, but it's a little place that I can call my own and that's all that counts. Oh, and by the way, ...welcome.

With your welcoming personality I'm sure the shop would be a success!

Lynette I think what you're describing is a hooters franchise, they sell odds n ends in their gift shop, and its always charming and warm where friends and family get together and celebrate great wings!

This was nice, but really I'm just saying something since as a Beckstrom (now Ostergard) I sometimes feel the need to comment on everything!

Lynette, I would love to shop in your shop. I hope you call it "Shugie's Shop", because like my sweet Shugie, it will be welcoming and warm and special! Love, Mom
