unintentional skinny dipping.

Okay, so I've been tagged again! This time the rules are a little different... state 8 random facts about yourself and then tag your friends to do the same. However, since I was just tagged (well... like 3 months ago), I'm going to refer you to my previous tag, and add one of my most embarrassing moments as a random fact. So, here goes....

A few years ago, Ammon and I were visiting his grandparents in Riverton, Utah when we decided to take Carly swimming at their neighborhood pool. The previous summer Ammon and I swam at the local Veteran's Pool that has two large tube slides... so much fun, but apparently pretty rough on the back side of your suit--too much friction, I guess. After swimming for about an hour or so, Ammon slowly wades over to me to tell me that the rear-end of my suit is see-through!

The conversation went something like this...

Ammon: (whispering) Hey, hon. The butt on your suit is see-through.
Me: (laughing) Shut up! That's not funny.
Ammon: No, I'm not kidding.
Me: (still not believing him) What do you mean by see-through?
Ammon: I can SEE-THROUGH your suit!
Me: What-ever! You are such a liar. Is it just like a little spot?
Ammon: No.
Me: Well, is it just on the cheeks?
Ammon: No.
Me: (getting annoyed) Well, what's it like?
Ammon: It's see-through.
Me: Whatever.(swimming away)

In my mind I was sure that Ammon was way over exaggerating this, so I got out of the pool to go see for myself. I confidently strode to the bathroom passing Ammon's grandparents and a few of their friends who were sitting near the pool. To my shock and utter humiliation, the entire back on my suit was completely see-through! Ay caramba! It was bad... you've seen those one-piece suits that have a see-through stomach, well... this was the reverse version of that! Nothing was hidden or covered, I was totally exposed! Needless to say, I wrapped a towel around my waist and retired from swimming for the day. I bought a new suit the next weekend, but to this day I wonder what Ammon's grandparents and their friends thought of my "barely there" suit.......oh, the embarrassment!

Person I tagged: Ammon ~ you're it... love ya!

I've heard this story before, from you actually. I think that's hilarious. I would've been mortified to be exposed in front of Nana and Grandpa. Read your other post as well. It was fun learning facts about you.

I still can't figure out how the bum of a bathing suit can be completely see through.. but all through the story I'm just thinking "good thing it was the back!" It could have been worse.. right?! Definitely a great "most embarrasing moment" though. Have the grandparents forgiven you?
