at last.

We received our visas last Tuesday and we leave for Chile on Wednesday, September 19th. I feel like for so long we've been desperate to receive any news about our departure, anxious to get to Chile, but now that it's finally here I feel completely unprepared! We'll leave late Wednesday night and get to Santiago early Thursday morning. Our plans are to be in Santiago for a few days to set up our legal identification, residency, bank accounts, etc, and then we're off to Antofagasta! My stomach has been a bunch of nerves and there truly isn't enough time to finish all of the last minute things I've been wanting to do. Our family is of course excited about our little adventure, but with that comes apprehension as to what lies ahead.
Wish us luck!

I think I was in denial... I'm so sad! But, please... don't you be. Remember attitude is everything! You are going to have one of the greatest adventures of your life! I love you! Call, write, and keep blogging! :)
Have fun and make sure to blog a lot so we can see what you're up to! What a fun adventure.
Austin and I are happy you guys are finally on your way. We are also sad too, but since we were far away anyway...a little extra distance hopefully won't change things. Austin is excited to stay in touch with Skype. We wish you luck in the adjustments and the last minute details you need to get done.
