e.l.f.

I first read about this company by browsing through my friend's friend's blog. E.L.F (eyes, lips, face) is a cosmetic company that has jumped on the budget bandwagon. Their philosophy: "Every woman should have the opportunity to participate in innovation, without sacrificing her budget."
Every item, from lipstick to brushes, is just $1.00! For that price, they're definitely worth checking out!

**I included the following coupon. Click on the picture to enlarge.

I've seen their site before, but I haven't taken the plunge. I'm wondering if it is decent or not. Have you tried it?? Let me know what you think.

Maddy,
I meant to buy some things before we moved. Unfortunately, they don't ship outside the US and Canada. Shucks!
I guess I'll have to wait and hear if anyone else has used and/or likes them.

Emily,
Now you have to buy this makeup! Where else would you ever find monogrammed makeup?!

I just happened upon your blog and thought I'd give you a heads up. I found out about E.L.F. a few months ago and had a coupon code for 50% off everything (all items only $.50!) so I figured I would try it out. The brushes are pretty decent and I love the bronzers, and some of the lip glosses are good. But other than that....no thanks. The eye shadows are really weak, and it takes a ton of applications to even show up. The eyeliners are not smooth, and really difficult to apply. The "Super Glossy Lip Shine" in the little squeeze tubes are good, but all of the other lip glosses are really stinky and taste horrible! So, I ended up giving most of my items to my daughter for her dress-up stuff. Also, it took a really long time to get my packages, and when I did get them, several of the items that I ordered were not in the box. They did end up giving me a refund for those items, but it was still a bit irritating. Just a little FYI. :)

my sister ellen used to buy a lot of estee lauder make-up and on their make-up it says "EL". on her mission she got in a fight with one of her companions over money. the comp thought my sister was super rich, and she kept saying she wasn't and she goes "you have your INITIALS engraved on your MAKEUP!" i still laugh about that.

I want to try it! Even if it is pretty bad, the girls will love it to play with.
