What I've learned from having a sinus infection this week.
1. When you're doped up on Non-drowsy Sudafed for five days straight you can get A LOT accomplished, but you WILL NOT be able to sleep at night. Don't even bother.
2. When you cannot breathe through your nose because you are completely stuffed up, you also suffer from the inability to taste food.
(sidenote: If I was always unable to taste food, I'm convinced I'd be super skinny. Food really looses its appeal when it tastes like snot.)
3. When you can't smell dirty diapers you learn the hard way that your kid is wet and dirty.
4. When you have a sinus infection you go to bed with tissues crammed up your nostrils. If you're blessed with a wonderful hubby like me,
he'll kiss you anyway. (WARNING: Don't let him kiss you. He'll get sick too.)

So sorry your sick. Hope they have good meds there & that your feeling better soon. I also hope no one else in your family gets it. :)
OH man, that sounds awful! I feel so bad for you.
I remember getting a sinus infection when I was pregnant with Ellie and teachings school. I had a student teacher and at one point while he was teaching, I just put my head down because I was in so much pain. He thought he was doing such an awful job on his lesson that he just quit right in the middle. HA HA HA!
Poor You. I hope you're up and feeling better now. Sudafed does the exact same thing to me - can't sleep for days! Which when you feel like crap, is all that you want to do. You have the most creative and funny ways to share stories about your life. This sinus posts was right up there with the rest. Feel Better soon!
I hope that you are feeling better. I know what you mean about the "no appetite"... I'm the same way when I'm stuffed up.
