It really is probably one of the best places you could live internationally. We have quite a few friends who have called that home at some point and LOVED it. (And now- depending on your situation obviously- is a better time than ever to live as expats.. with the market.) Lucky you!!
(Will you do an American/International school or find a private local? Many of my high school friends went to SAS.)
So, so exciting. Maybe you can become friends with the lovely Dutch Bloesem blogger who also lives in Singapore. :)
congrats! one thing i'm not looking forward to is the extreme difference in time zones, how will we talk? ;)
really happy for you guys, and even happier to see you in a few months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kelli, yes! we've already applied to SAS--we're hoping they have room for carly.
angie, ok, so it's just another one year assignment. they speak english there, so i will not be trilingual (heck, i'm not even bilingual) and we decided to take our home leave around the holidays so we'll be moving straight from here to singapore! crazy, huh!
Wow Lynette! What an opportunity. Your kids (and you)are experiencing the world in such a cool and unique way. Can't wait to hear how you like it there. Hope Carly gets into the school the want. Congratulations!
Wow that is awsome! One extreme to the other. You will have to tell me all about your new adventures. How do the kids feel about the move? You are very lucky to be able to see such beautiful places. What does Ammon do so that you travel to such destinations?
that is awesome lynette!!! such an adventure to move to another place on another continent....and so soon. singapore is awesome and people are friendly....definately different than chile though. i have some friends that just moved there and so if you want to check out their blog to see what´s happening or if you have any questions for them i´m sure you could write...just a thought!
