mash.

I probably shouldn't be sharing this because it makes me sound rebellious, immature, and irreverent, but in truth, I am all those things and it's true, so here goes.

Instead of listening in Sunday school, Ammon and I played MASH.
Do you remember that game?

M(mansion) A(apartment) S(shack) H(house)

Here's what I got:
dwelling: house
city: provo
pet: spider
kids: 1
car: skateboard
job: garbage man
hobby: hunting

Ammon's:
dwelling: shack
city: preston, idaho
pet: lizard
kids: sextuplets
car: big wheel
job: pawn shop employee
hobby: legos

Talk about a couple of rotten futures.
Do you think it was karma for not paying attention to the lesson?

So tell me...
What do you do when you're brain is fried and you're too tired to listen to a Sunday School lesson in a foreign language you barely understand?

i go "check" on noah, make sure he's not crying in nursery...even though he doesn't need checking. good excuse to get out for a good 15 minutes!

i simply blame my one year kid for needing a nap and go home and take one too!

hey, don't i get partial credit for getting everyone dressed and there on time (almost)??

Well, I'm in Primary so I never get bored :D If I do, I make up an errand to do and go check on Nursery -- snacks and toys! WOO HOO!

I was interested in your living choices -- Preston, ID?? And Provo? Those would never go on my top choices.

I remember when Tom Cruise and Patrick Swayzee were on my MASH list. HA HA HA! OH and I wanted my car to be a Limo.

maddy,

they were definitely NOT our top choices, they were the *gag* options...in fact all of the things we ended up with were the gag options. terrible luck, huh.

Thanks for the reminder about a great game :)

It's been a very long time...10 years? I found you through the Nie Auctions...just scrolling though and there you were! Isn't incredible how much people have donated? I've heard a rough estimate of around 100, 000 dollars!! CRAZY. In a good way.

One time I found Wade sleeping in an extra room. Which wouldn't be too bad if your 2, but 30!? We play tic tac toe, but I think we'll now upgrade to MASH, good stuff right there.

What made him pick Preston, ID? That is where I'm really from and it would NOT go on my MASH options!! Neither would Provo!! I haven't played MASH in years though, I should do it again!

you are HILARIOUS! I ALWAYS have cookbooks in my church bag and i look through them and decide what to make for dinners during the week. i also use my husband's iphone to play tetris!

I just played this a few weeks ago and Matt Damon was my husband:)
During church I'm to busy getting mad at my kids and taking them out to spank them. Sometime I wonder why I go to church!

I am also in primary and therefore never bored. I also bring my journal in case sharing time (or sac meeting talks) get too long. A good way to catch up so I don't feel guilty about not writing in my journal!

Well, I for sure know what I'm doing next week in Sunday school.

I haven't played Mash in forever! That's too funny. When my hubby and I were dating in the singles ward I asked him, during boring Sunday school, if he wanted to go makeout in the mother's room and since then he always sits us smack dab front and center so I can't misbehave :(
BTW I have something for you at my blog

That made me and Wendy laugh! I read it to her over the phone!!!

i played mash this summer when i was in ukraine and understood russian but it was hurting my brain to concentrate!!! no kids yet and the singles ward can be long-winded always and so i make to do lists and plan my next vacation.....when i visit my sister paige, i go to class with hyrum and the 4 year olds and then play their games.
