Perhaps this isn't news to you, but it's the first time that I've owned a pot with a straining lid and it's delightful. Perfect for cooking pasta or even browning ground beef and draining the excess fat. Less dirty dishes, less mess, and a time saver for sure. Purchased here.

Lynette, I had a pasta pot kind of like that and Sorry to say but it didn't work real well. The lid was awful to get off. I hope your experience works better for you. It looks like a nice one.
I love mine too. It came in a set and all the pots have lids that will strain. Isn't it great??!
