sleep deprivation & peer pressure.

Adjusting to a 14 hour time difference is rough. Our entire sleep schedule is off and everyone is cranky. I've been awake since about 2 a.m. and since there's not much to do in the middle of the night I hopped online. They say that when you're tired your inhibitions are lowered and you do things that normally you wouldn't do. Me? I just joined facebook--something that I might regret when I've slept for a few more hours.

For the past few months I've had a few friends ask me to join, but I've held off because I feel like I already spend enough time blogging and online. But, when you're bored in the middle of the night Facebook looks like a party of beautiful people, laughing and having fun. And I thought o myself, "I want to laugh and have fun and be beautiful. I want to go to there." (Name that show.)

So, here I go. Succumbing to peer pressure.

Do you Facebook?

I do.

I wondered why you joined. We were just talking about facebook...

I facebook, but I prefer blogging. I guess I still haven't got the hang of it.

I joined Facebook and it's been kind of fun to re-connect with some old friends - although I admit to wondering sometimes why I care about being re-connected with old friends that have been out of my life for such a long time. It's weird.

How was your flight back to Singapore? Hope you had a nice holiday with your family.

I do Facebook too! I was addicted in the beginning, literally. Not so much any more...
I wish you a restful sleep sweetie!

I love facebook! It doesn't take much time. It's a great tool to connect with people in your past.

Happy birthday, by the way.

I just joined Facebook, too.

Glad you're back safely, but we do miss you a ton.

I felt the pressure mounting as well and once Lynette caved, I decided it was my time as well. I mean, even my dad has a facebook now.

I love Facebook. A great way to keep in touch with people in an easy, nonobtrusive way. Plus I get to know what's going on in everyone's life really easily. It's voyeurism at its best!

Ugh -- facebook peer pressure. I also joined by force. I'll have to add you as a friend. Not that I ever do much.

I have an account and am not so into it. I have a hard time even remembering to check in.. let alone post status updates or find old friends. I vote that blogger is so much better. :)

Blogging and facebook are two totally different things to me, each perfect for there are used for. Facebook=easy communication and reconnecting
Blogging=letting people into the most personal parts of my life!
Always keep expectations low, and theres never a club your not in, my two epiphanies and theories in life
