I just finished watching the Oscars.
I thought Hugh did great, didn't you?
I didn't recognize half of the movies with nominations, but the few I did recognize (Dark Knight, Ironman, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) I loved.
So, what about all the others?
Any of them worth seeing?
Here's a few that piqued my curiosity.
Doubt
Changeling
Slumdog Millionaire

I haven't seen anything else, but when Slumdog comes to TNT I'll record it for you! I can't remember if Changeling was rated R? If not I'll be seeing it when it comes out on DVD...or maybe it is already.
I LOVED Hugh, I thought he did awesome. And the "Wolverine" at the end of his song made me burst out laughing. Awesome. I also thought Tina Fey and Steve Martin were funny.
I've heard really amazing things about Slumdog Millionaire. I read a spoiler of Doubt and it didn't really hold my attention.
I'm bummed I missed it! I wanted to see it just for Hugh!
From all the most recent movies I've seen Australia was one of my favorites! (But that's this year)
Twilight was fun just to be with all the girls and the suspense...
So have you seen the ones you were interested in yet?
We just went to see Doubt and really enjoyed it. It's not a light, fun kind of movie, but one that really makes you think. And the acting performances in it were fabulous. So if you like to see great acting and a movie that sticks with you for a bit while you think it over, I recommend it.
