love day.

This is what my Valentine's Day looked like.

The details:

Exchanged small gifts and candy.
Hubby earned bonus points when tulips arrived.
My favorite.

Took kids to SAS county fair.
Lots of cotton candy.
Blue tongues.

Fun and games.
Carly won big at bamboo arrows.
Pure luck.

Indulged in retail therapy.
Bought antique rice bowl from Tibet.
Very cool.

Hot and sweaty family.
Hailed a cab.
Traffic.

Ate dinner.
Devoured dessert.
Delicious.

Lots of kisses.
Lots of hugs.
Love.

What are your plans?

Dave is playing basketball all morning, going on splits with the missionaries for the afternoon, and adult session of Stake Conference tonight. I've been cleaning bathrooms, doing load after load of laundry, dishes, and vacuuming.

Sooo romantic.

I'm dying over your tulips! They're beautiful!

Major points to Ammon for the tulips. They are beautiful. Sounded like a fun day.

I'm paying bills and balancing the checkbook while Jim takes the kids to the mall to run around. Fun fun. Although, I've had worst Valentine days...

Those tulips are amazing and how cool is the basket they came in. Big bonus points for Ammon. Happy love day to you!

Mike got me donuts, big bonus points for him. :) And we went to Los Cucos with the boys, a little crazy, but in general a great night.

The tulips are beautiful. Sounds like a wonderful heart day! we have our anniversary on the 12th so we do a little combination of that and Valentines day. We took the kids out to eat and to Chuck E- cheese for games only!

How sweet of Ammon! Justin and I just cleaned up the house in prep for his parents to arrive late that evening. We had pizza dinner late around 10 pm so not quite the romantic evening. He did give me my favorite roses a few days earlier. I guess it is better to get roses early than late or never at all. Hope Carly is doing better after ingesting the mountain of antibiotics for her infection. You are an amazing photographer!!!

Well, I can't put ours as poetically (sp?)...
But, Kamron got me these beautiful planted Calla lilies.
I'm pretty sure they were an after thought as he was at Home Depot. :)
