abode.
I finally got around to taking some pics of our apartment. After spending two full days scrubbing and dusting every nook and cranny in preparation for our visitors, I figure it won't get much cleaner than this.

I'm fairly certain that my house has NEVER been that clean!
It looks like it should be in a magazine.
It's really amazing. I especially love the kids room/ bedding/ desk + chair. Lucky you guys!
And the new look (header) is fun.
Dude.
Jealous.
Enough said.
WOW! Everything is so SHINY!!! How do you like your floors in your family room? Do they get scuffed and dirty or do they stay pretty shiny? It looks amazing. Now I'm dying to visit--that's one SWEET guest bedroom. I also really love the dining room. The big mirror is so pretty and the flowers on the table were a nice touch. Those pictures were awesome, too.
Also, really like the new header. so simple and fun.
How beautiful. Looks heavenly.
Love the new header.
Wow super nice place. The pics look they come from a model home. I don't think my house will ever be that clean.
Home sweet home. Did you take all those black and white pictures over the beds?
Great pictures, Lynette. Thanks for sharing.
Will you take some of Kerri & Robert and the kids while they're there, please? It would be fun to see you all together!
Your place is soooooooooo clean and I am so jealous! I just want one hour for my house to look and feel that clean. Your house is amazing!!!
Sparkling! Really it should be featured in a magazine. Your photos captured everything perfectly! Just like you... perfect. :)
Oh my! Can I move in? Luke saw me looking at pictures and said, "Wow, that's a nice house!" I agree and will be stopping by if I ever visit Singapore!
Life is tough in Singapore
oooo so elegant. I want to come and visit!
Beautiful. And such a different look than your home in Chile. Can't wait to see your next home!
Love your style! Wanna come clean and organize my house?!?!? ;) Hope you had fun with your visitors!
ok, so to answer questions/comments...
Emily-- I like the marble floors, but they are a fancier than anything I would have in my own home. I got used to having only rugs in Chile because only the bedrooms were carpeted. I'd love the have hardwoods one day. In my opinion, they are easier to keep clean with kids (esp. spills, sickness, potty-training, etc.)
Marie--No. The pictures on the walls were already there. I wish I could change them, but they are bolted to the walls so I can't take them off to put a new photo inside the frame. Bummer.
***ALSO--all the furniture belongs to the service apartment. It's fancier than my personal taste. I have bought things here and there to help our apartment feel a bit more like home, but most of what you see is not ours.
i swear that is the most amazing apartment i've ever seen...it totally looks like a model home! i am with emilie...jealous!
Wow!!!
That is so awesome!
I love the style! I also love the kids room.
So, is any of the decor or bedding yours?
I've been having computer problems... that's why it's been so long! I need to call and catch up with you soon.
