souvenirs.

So what did we do last week while we had visitors?
We SHOPPED!
And I'm still tired.

Here's some of my favorite souvenirs.

I bought this guy in Chinatown.
He represents longevity and good health.

I love all the little details.

And his happy smile.

The Chinese engraving means, "That your life may be as long as the sea is wide."

I love that.

This is small batik mask.

It's also a box.

I love the rich colors and intricate design.

These coconut shells have been smoothed

and turned into bowls.

I love the bright colors

and smooth insides.

But, these little ladies might be my favorite.

They're made in Japan

and I just couldn't resist their roundish shapes and smiling faces.

Aren't they the cutest little pair?

Love love the bowls. Those wooden ladies...so happy and cheerful. I've got a roundish figure. I need to compliment it with a cheery smile like theirs. :) Looks like a fun outing.
