right now.
I'm in a fight with my HOA.
I'm real fired up.
I just sent them a strongly worded email.
I used words like ridiculous, insulting, absurd, and disgusting.
I really gave them a piece of my mind.
Unfortunately, I think I'm fighting a loosing battle.
I smell defeat just around the corner.
I really hate that.

We are going through that same thing right now! In fact, remember Andrew Ord from our BYU ward? It's him and his family in charge of our HOA, and they live in California. The grounds and buildings are so neglected that we are staging a coup and taking over so that we at least have a local president and treasurer so we now where our funds are going.
What's going on with yours?
Yes, do tell! You can't just vent and not tell us what brought this battle on. Besides, I can be your local help. I do just live around the corner. :) Good Luck!
ooo i feel your pain. we have some issues with our property manager for our neighborhood....UGH!
would you like us to do a drive-by in your old neighborhood?
emily & angie,
here's the deal...it's pool tag sign up time. the hoa holds two seperate dates where you can come and sign up in person for your tags. if you don't show up--IN PERSON--they charge you. i tried emailing them that we live out of the country, but they are like "we have to treat all residents equally. if you want pool tags it's going to be $60."
it just really makes me mad because i paid our $500 hoa dues in advance for this year and access to the pool is the only thing that we basically get and now they are wanting more.
ridiculous!
I soon will be joining the HOA club. I hope that we do not have the problems that everyone else seems to have.
And that's freaking ridiculous! You don't live in the country. There should *always* be exceptions to the rules. Especially if you are paying for a service.
Why what did they do now?
OK should have kept reading, new question, what do you need a pool tag for, you wont be back until december? Im lost!
marie,
i'd like our renters to be able to use the pool. plus, it's the principle of the matter. i paid the dues, i should get pool tags.
