Carly had her dance recital over the weekend. She did such a great job! I was beaming with pride!
Later that evening I was going through the pictures and this one stopped me dead in my tracks.

Look at that little lady! Holy smokes! It's just a glimpse of how she'll look as a teenager. Ammon better sharpen his "crazy, scary dad" face for when the boys start coming by.

Wow Lynette. She's absolutely beautiful! But more importantly, I just had to comment to tell you how much I admire and respect your post below about being more logged in to your family. I think (know!) I spend too much time on the computer and it takes a toll on me and on my family. I don't know why I was surprised to discover that I'm not the only one who feels bad about herself after reading the blogs of so many amazing and talented people. I guess my online time is my escape from the pressure and responsibilities of raising 4 young children and I need to be more thoughtful and careful about how much time it's taking me away from the kids & spouse that love and need me. Anyway, thanks! I'm gonna try to follow your example.
