bff's.

These are my best friends, Wendy(left) and Heidi(right). Last week, I took a trip up to Dallas to visit them before we move and it was so refreshing. There is something to be said about best friends, the kind you share your inner thoughts with, as well as compare your stretchmarks with (my friend Angie puts this better than I do). In high school we were inseparable and now when we get together it's like we haven't skipped a beat... we just pick up right where we left off.
There isn't really much to tell you about our visit because we didn't do anything out of the ordinary. We sat and laughed together, let our kids run and play together, and stayed up way past our bedtimes (something that's proving more difficult these days). In the end, the 10 hour drive (round trip) left me feeling rejuvenated and alive. Although we've grown up, we haven't grown apart... and I hope we never do. Thanks for everything, girls!

you haven't changed one bit lynette! how have you not aged in ten yearss?! you look so pretty! sounds sooo nice and fun.
Emily,
I can't tell if you think that the top pic is recent...because it's not! But, if you're saying from our Provo days I haven't changed...THANK YOU!
Do you have any recent pictures? I haven't seen any of the three of you in a LONG time. I always loved watching your friendship with Heidi and Wendy. BFFs are necessary!
Kelli,
We're idiots... we didn't take any pictures while I was there! But, you can see recent pictures of the twins and their families here.
hooray for friends! and you make a great one!
Lynette!! I have just now gone to your blog since you were here, and what a surprise! Those pictures are hilarious. I am so mad that we didn't take any while you were here. We are idiots! I loved the quote too, so true. I can't wait to hear how everythings been going. I miss you.
By the way, where were we in the first picture? It looks like we were at Chilli's in the 2nd picture. I always think of you when I'm at Chilli's.
Wendy-
We were at Sunny's Senior Luncheon at that fancy restaurant downtown (I don't remember the name... maybe Brennan's?)
Yes!! I remember. It was Brennans. It would be fun to look at photo albums and remember everything we did. We had so much fun. I always remember having fun blaring music and singing in your red Cherokee.
