splurge.

My name is Lynette, and I'm an cheap (the first step is admitting there's a problem). I wasn't always a cheapskate, but I married one and it's beginning to rub off. I buy my make-up from the drug store, I get my hair cut for less than $15, and I never, I repeat, never, buy shampoo from a salon... except for this past weekend. Lately, my hair seemed dull and lifeless and I thought the change had come from having kids, but boy was I wrong! The "dead head" came from my $5 shampoo! So, I splurged this weekend and bought Aveda shampoo & conditioner and my hair is completely different! It has bounce and vitality... and it has the "body" of a sixteen year old! I'm so amazed that I can't keep my hands out of my hair and I keep checking it out in the mirror. Ammon says that it's probably just a placebo, but I'm a believer! Hooray for healthy hair!

I LOVE Aveda. Anything Aveda. I buy their makeup too. (You should try Origins next.) It does make all the difference.

Of course he says that, he's a cheap-y! Dustin actually pays more for a haircut than I do, so I can totally relate. Now I want to try it though!

Though I don't buy expensive shampoo, I do believe in them. 90% of the time a more expensive product is better than the cheapos.

I am so glad. I was worried that you were going to have buyers remorse. This makes me want to go buy some. It is hard forking out so much more for it. (It's worth it!)
