the costanera.

I thought I'd share what a typical drive along the Costanera (Coastal Road) looks like. It's about a 10 minute drive that I've condensed into about 3 and a half minutes. If you easily get car sick--beware, it's not the smoothest ride. Other than that, enjoy!

The weird thing about the costanera is that the actual name of the street changes every couple of blocks (Av. Grecia, Av. Croacia, etc). The Costanera is just the nickname.

Great vid, hon! You've done yourself proud.

That was fantastic! You're so creative and I really hope that you listen to music like that every time you drive the costaera. Chile looks beautiful. I'm with Carly.. I hope that you stay there for ages and ages.

Lynette...thank you for taking me on a car ride in your new life...it was so great to see through your eyes...everything looks beautiful and peaceful, even with the city right there. Don't you love the constant sound of the ocean/ocean breezes/sea birds? Mom B

Hi Lynette! Love your blog and how easy is it to keep in touch with the fam now. I was expecting something scary with the car sick warning. My hubby took me on vacation to Brazil and I nicknamed the freeway 'the circle of death'! Lucky for Chile is much nicer than Brazil!! It looks beautiful!!

Angie,
YES, ALL THE TIME! I get wrapped up in the day to day routine of things but then I'll catch a glimpse out the window of the ocean and think, "I'm in CHILE!" It's crazy!
