morning.
I'm not a morning person. I never have been, I never will be.
I took some pictures to prove it to you.
(Why do I choose to humiliate myself like this?)
#1. Trying to focus my eyes enough to read the screen.
#2. Wiping the crusty eye booger that sealed my right eye shut in pic #1.
#3. Mustering up all the enthusiasm I have in the morning.

I mean, seriously people. What happens to me during the middle of the night? My hair that is straight and coiffed hours before is now a frizzy, curly mess. My face is pale and puffy. My eyes are crusty and smudged with leftover mascara. And worst of all, my breath that was minty fresh when my head hit the pillow the night before somehow turns into unspeakable dragon breath.NOT!
Something is wrong with me. I think I might transform into a foul monster in the middle of the night that roams the streets scaring villagers with my hideousness. At least that might explain the unfortunate sight I see every morning.
Sidenote: These photos are untouched. If you look closely you'll see a lovely zit forming on my chin. Also, why does my hand look humongous in the second photo? I swear I do not have freakishly large man-hands, but this picture would suggest otherwise.

Hilarious! My morning pictures would look similar, but my hair is wilder with the curls all out of place and frizzy. It's the best when I've forgotten to wash off my make-up the night before and I look like a raccoon mixed with a beast! Truly scary.

Wow...you are so hard on yourself! You look just like the rest of us. Good thing the only people that see me in the morning are my husband and kids...and they love me regardless of how bad I look! And I'm never quite awake until after I've had a shower!

I can be pretty grouchy in the morning and isn't it sad that the people we love the most have to see us that way?
