kindergarten.
Yesterday was Carly's first day of Kindergarten. I tried to get a few cute pictures of her, but she was too excited to "smile pretty." These were the best ones...
(Yep, that's my kindergartner. The really cheesy one.)
Although we had a trial run with six weeks of Pre-Kinder (Mon-Fri from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm), I got a little choked up as I dropped her off at her classroom. She beamed as she greeted her classmates and teacher (her teacher moved up with the class and her classmates will be the same all the way through high school). As I watched her through the glass window, a tear ran down my cheek and I thought to myself, "When did my baby girl get so grown up?"
I'm sure I will continue to ask myself that question with each passing year.

Time goes by so fast. I can't believe Cameron will be in 1st this coming year. Seems like yesterday I was crying as I dropped him off at Kindergarten. Kindergarten is so fun!
Well, Kindergarten is so fun for him! I stay at home wondering what he is doing and wishing it were a holiday so he could be off with me.
Oh yeah... what cute pics! She looks super happy! That is cool that they have the same class until they finish school!
i cannot believe she's old enough for kindergarten! she looks adorable. and isn't it great that she's excited for school instead of dreading it? the thought of isaac in kindergarten terrifies me, i'm sure i'll bawl!
oh, wow, when did she get so old? she really is adorable, lynette... quick, have some more babies, you have really cute ones!
She is so pretty and looks a lot like you did when you were little! Isn't that first day so fun? I love how excited the little ones get!
She looks adorable. I think it's neat that the same teacher moves up with them.
Kindergarten is the beginning of the end -- yes, I'm trying to depress you. They just learn so much and grow up so fast. . . now I'm crying!
Cute pics! How is Wesley handling being an only child again? So far Jinnie is loving it, but it's only been 3 days so far...
congrats to Carly! miss you guys so much, but glad she can be happy not being close to us. (ask her how she does it!) ;)
much love,
Austin
She looks so much like you! Can't believe you have a kindergartener! I still have a hard time that Keira can talk and walk...it's almost not fair how fast they grow up (I say almost b/c I know there were times when I wished she could just feed and carry herself...now I wish she would slow down)!!
Oh Lynette, I'm crying for you! She's so cute, but I still have images of her sitting on her little princess couch in your apartment in Provo saying that she wanted to watch "lalerlala" (Cinderella).
I still cry when I drop off my now 2nd and 4th graders on their first day of school. I have to try and make sure none of their friends see as to not embarrass them!
