a good thing.
I don't think I've ever mentioned this on my blog, but did you know that McDonald's delivers in Singapore?
They call it McDelivery.

It's been a year and I'm still on the fence as to whether I think this is a good thing or a bad thing. But, I will tell you what I know is a good thing: online grocery shopping and delivery!

I ordered my groceries online the other day for the very first time since moving to Singapore and now I'm wondering, Why on earth did it take me this long to try this?
A few minutes of click-clacking on my keyboard and all my groceries were ordered, paid for, and set for delivery. And, did I mention that the delivery fee is only about $5 US? My taxi fare to and from the store easily costs more than that.
I'm beginning to get worried that without daily housekeeping and grocery delivery I'm going to have a hard time coping with life when we move back to the States.
Someone remind me again, Why are we moving?

you are moving back because you miss us all so much!
So confession time: have you ever used the McDelivery service? I know I would. I used to wish more than anything when I was a kid that McDonald's delivered.
There are actually some grocery stores in TX that deliver, because I think my sister used them--or at least knew people who used them.
so when are you moving back!? and where!? if you come adn take a trip to Disney or somewhere in FL let us know!!!
emily--of course! when i was in the midst of my extreme morning sickness i called them for the kids more than i want to admit--that's why it's both good and bad!
jenna--we're moving back to houston sometime in january.
YEAH!!!! I'm happy to hear that you are moving back to Houston. That is great. I can't believe they have delivery for McDonalds and for grocery shopping!!!! That is so cool.
Lets you and I start our own grocery store with delivery and make millions of dollars. Ive always thought of having a grocery store with a drive through, thats how Im going to make my third million dollars. (Ive got two other million dollar ideas to do first) =)
Oh wow -- I don't think I would move. That sounds like heaven!
When are you moving back? I have to say that McDelivery would make me actually go (or not go) to McDonalds. Oh yeah, and you've got me hooked on pioneer woman. SO DANGEROUS!! Thanks for NOTHING!! Kidding.
Man, I miss you guys.
That is awesome! I would definitely do it!
