snow day.
Today it was supposed to snow.
But I knew better--I grew up in Houston. So far, all we've had is a lot of ice. Ice and idiotic drivers.
But, who am I to judge? I was one of them.
As soon as I woke up and saw my lawn was speckled with a few blades of icy grass, I knew my kids would be sincerely disappointed.
I plugged in our hot cocoa machine, threw on my warmest coat & flip flops, hopped in the car and drove straight to the donut shop.
Because if my kids can't have white winter flurries, at least they'll have pink sprinkled donuts.

So disappointing, but I gotta say, the hot chocolate and donuts sounds WAY better than snow.

I love snow but I have to say donuts and hot chocolate are a good second place.

I was gonna say that at least with donuts you don't need to shovel anything, but then I remembered you'll probably need a shovel to get me to move after eating as much as I did!
