Spring is in the Air
Every year when the seasons change, I say to myself, "This is my favorite time of year."
As spring bounces into summer I enjoy the sun, the outdoor activities, and the family reunions. Then, as summer wanes into fall, I enjoy the changing leaves, Halloween, and the scent of Autumn in the air(to me autumn smells like pumpkin muffins--yum--thanks for that recipe, Angie). Next, as fall drifts into winter, there are sweaters and warm blankets, puffs of your breath in the night air, and above all Christmas(this is a post in of itself.) And now as winter awakens into spring... I find myself saying it again, "This is my favorite time of year." There are the displays of pastel colors, the variety of spring flowers, and then...Easter!
I love the spring and the rebirth of seasons. To me, it seems like the most delightful season. Somehow it always makes me smile...and who doesn't need that!

I don't know how you managed to get that picture of Carly and Wesley both with animal ears. It always seems that they (especially Wes) can't wait to rip those things off the second you get them on.
Now I'm jealous! We don't have seasons here -- just different variations of hot. The only part of summer I like is getting out of Arizona :)
On my mission (Venezuela/Barcelona) we only had two seasons--summer and winter. Summer was incredibly hot and humid all day, every day. Winter, like summer, was incredibly hot and humid all day, every day, with the added joy of it also raining buckets upon buckets all day, every day.
You are a breath of fresh air. I enjoy your comments so much! Of course here in CA, it's more like sprummer, but I always have hope for a cool spring.
i love spring! we stayed outside all day today - trampoline - walks - playing in the sand box - perfect!
