chick flick.
Depressed by the fact that very few movies are released here and these might get left out. Depressed that my best gal pals will be seeing these movies without me.
Depressed that I won't be there to share in the laughter, the tears, and the gushing over romantic moments. But most of all, I was depressed because I suddenly realized I was lonely for friends, girlfriends.
I miss having someone I can call at the end of a stressful day and I know they'll be sitting beside me for the 10:00 movie. A friend that is willing to ignore the extra calories and meets me for ice cream. A friend that listens. A friends who understands. A friend who loves.
I'm sure one day I'll look back and miss the friends I make here in Antofagasta, but today, I miss my girlfriends back home. So, this is to all my girlfriends throughout the years. Thank you for your love and friendship. I only hope I have been there for you the way you were always there for me. The next time we're together, whenever and wherever that may be, we'll have to go see a chick flick... and I promise, the popcorn is on me.

Morning Sugie. We all miss you and your family too. It will be sad this Christmas without the Beckstroms here. It is like when I was serving my mission...you feel life is moving on without you, but you look back on it later and fondly remember the memories you created while you were gone too. Time will fly and we will see you again. Until then, I'm hugging you in my heart and looking forward to your next blog.

I'm sorry you're depressed, I can sympathize. Pretty much all our friends have moved out or are moving out of state. :(
I had to laugh at Austin's comment. Total guy comment. Somehow men just don't enjoy a good cry like women do.
Thats funny because whenever I see a preview for a chick flick I get sad that your not here to sneak out with at 10 pm to go see it with me. I had to drag Josh to see August Rush with me...I remember when we saw the preview together. He fell asleep during the movie while I was fighting back tears the whole time...so I wish you were here too, but before long you will be and they are always coming out with new movies, so Im sure theyll be some good ones then!!!!Enjoy your adventure.
Lynette- you know I'm not much of a movie-goer, but please, call me anytime! It is very easy to get lonely here (even when you are as 'experienced' as I am). It's so nice to have another gringa (especially one who has the same values as me) live so close!
