love.

I carry your heart with me ( I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it (anywhere I go, you go, my dear
And whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world (for beautiful, you are my world, my true)
And it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
(Here is the deepest secret nobody knows
Here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
And the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
Higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
And this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)
happy valentine's day!

Oooh, my favorite poem EVER!
too sweet! i hope you have a very happy day! seems like you're a romantic...
I love that picture. Where did you find it? It would be beautiful framed. Love the poem too. Very romantic for Valentine's Day.
J,
I found the picture here. But, this one is also beautiful.
the sharpie story should be another post in itself but here's the quick version....Eric came home from work and I asked him to watch Keira while I cook dinner. He was "organizing" things on the computer, but he said no problem. I come into the living room about 30 minutes later and there is black marker EVERYWHERE! It's not just the sharpie kind but the big fat kind that you have to air the house after you take the lid off. Anyway, I come in and make some sort of exclamation. Eric looks up from the lap top and says, "Oh my gosh!! I didn't even see her do this!!" I look at him and say, "You didn't SEE her DO THIS???? LOOK AT YOUR FEET!!!!" He looks down and his feet are BLACK from the toes to mid calf. It was all over our carpet, windows, a bench I got in Saudi Arabia, her new birthday toys opened the day before, EVERYWHERE. So, that's my story of her magic marker adventure.
Oh, by the way, I have to say that I LOVE reading your blog. You are so witty and yet so personable. You should be writing a column for a newspaper or magazine. Happy Valentine's Day!!
Love the peom and the picture. Did you have a good Valentine's Day?
Hope you had a good Valentine's. Is V-Day celebrated in Chile? (besides by you guys, I mean.)
That is a good poem, by my favorite poet. I can't help posting another of his:
love is more thicker than forget
more thinner than recall
more seldom than a wave is wet
more frequent than to fail
it is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea
love is less always than to win
less never than alive
less bigger than the least begin
less littler than forgive
it is more sane and sunly
and more it cannot die
than all the sky which only
is higher than the sky
Happy Valentine's Day!!
Wow, I've never heard that one before... the one Austin put in his comment is great, too.
Hope you had a great V-day!
Love you!
